People clueless about geography

Researchers found one in three people thought Mount Everest, in Nepal, was actually in the Swiss Alps or the UK. And half of all those asked didn't know the Nile in Egypt is widely thought to be the world's longest river. Our local knowledge isn't any better - lots of people think their most visited local landmark is the local DIY shop!
